2023 National Volunteering Conference
About
The 2023 National Volunteering Conference is Australia’s leading event on the volunteering calendar. The conference provides a platform for not-for-profit leaders, volunteer management professionals, government and corporate representatives, academics and researchers, and volunteers to come together to address emerging issues of high priority.
The 2023 National Volunteering Conference is being overseen by a Conference Steering Committee and Program Advisory Group.
The Conference Steering Committee meets monthly and consists of members from Volunteering Australia, The Department of Social Services (DSS), The Australian National University (ANU) and the State and Territory Volunteering Peak Bodies.
Volunteering Australia
Volunteering Australia is the national peak body for volunteering, working to advance volunteering
in the Australian community. Volunteering Australia’s vision is to promote a strong, connected, and resilient Australian community through volunteering. Our mission is to lead, strengthen, and celebrate volunteering in Australia.
The National Strategy for Volunteering
Volunteering Australia is currently leading the development of the first National Strategy for Volunteering in ten years, which is being launched at the 2023 National Volunteering Conference. The National Strategy will be designed and owned by the volunteering ecosystem and provide a blueprint for a reimagined future for volunteering in Australia.
