When is the 2023 National Volunteering Conference being held?
The conference will be held on Monday 13 February and Tuesday 14 February 2023.
Where is the 2023 National Volunteering Conference being held?
The conference is being held at the Australian National University in Canberra.
Will the conference be accessible?
The conference venue/s and locations are access friendly. As part of our registration process, we ask all delegates to share any accessibility requirements so that our planning team can ensure a seamless experience on the day. You can contact our events team at events@volunteeringaustralia.org
Who attends this conference?
The conference is open to all! Typically, the conference hosts not-for-profit leaders, volunteer management professionals, government and corporate representatives, academics and researchers, and volunteers to come together to address emerging issues of high priority.

Do you have any inclusive ticket pricing?
Ticket pricing for the 2023 National Volunteering Conference has been developed to be as inclusive and accessible as possible for all delegates. There are scholarship opportunities and online tickets for those delegates who require further support or are unable to attend in-person.

What is included in the ticket price?
In-person tickets include:
- Admission to all conference activities in-person across both days (13-14 February 2023)
- All Keynote and Plenary sessions
- Selection of breakout workshops
- Conference Reception
- Access to conference recordings
- Conference lunch and morning and afternoon teas
- Access to conference exhibition space
Online tickets include:
- Access to online conference (livestream feed only)
- All conference keynotes and plenary sessions (no breakout workshops except those held in main conference hall only)
- Access to post-conference recordings
Where can I register?
Registrations can be made here via our ticketing provider Humanitix.
When do registrations close?
Early bird registrations close 16 December 2022.
In-person registrations close 9 February 2023, unless sold out prior.
Online registrations close 11 February 2023.
What is your transfer and cancellation policy for delegates?
Cancellations – 14 days from event – full refund and self cancellation
Delegates are able to submit requests for ticket cancellation and a full refund up to 14 days out from the conference via the Humanitix platform. Tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded after this time.
Transfers – 7 days from event – upon request to conference team
Delegates who are no longer able to attend may request to transfer their ticket to another person up to 7 days out from the event. Please submit your requests for transfer to our conference team at events@volunteeringaustralia.org
COVID-19 – Any stage up until conference upon request to conference team.
Delegates who develop symptoms, feel unwell or test positive for COVID-19 may request to refund their ticket up until conference day or nominate to transfer their ticket to an online ticket and will be provided with a refund for the cost difference. Please submit your requests for transfer to our conference team at events@volunteeringaustralia.org.
