Volunteering Australia is still seeking resources for its new Volunteering Resource Hub. The Resource Hub will be a national, online repository of information and resources for volunteer management professionals. If your organisation has resources on any aspect of volunteer management, including policies, procedures, tools, and templates, we would love to hear from you.
Contributions can be made by emailing them to projects@volunteeringaustralia.org, sending them via WeTransfer, or uploading them to Dropbox. For more information please read on or call Sarah on 02 6251 4060.
About the Resource Hub
Volunteering Australia is delighted to announce that we will be establishing a national Volunteering Resource Hub. The Resource Hub will be a centralised repository of information for the volunteering sector, with a focus on volunteer management. The Hub will be designed by the sector, for the sector, to ensure the resources it houses are relevant and useful for volunteer management professionals across Australia.
We are seeking input from the volunteering sector on what information and resources should be housed in the Resource Hub. If your organisations has resources it would like to contribute for consideration for the Resource Hub you can connect with us in the following ways:
- Submit your resources to our dedicated Dropbox
- Send your resources via email to projects@volunteeringaustralia.org
- Send your resources via WeTransfer to projects@volunteeringaustralia.org
The Volunteering Resource Hub is not seeking to duplicate resources already out there, but rather to bring evidence of best practice in volunteer management to one central place. Any resources submitted to the Resource Hub that are assessed as suitable will be uploaded in their current format and will remain the intellectual property of the original author. If you are sending through resources we ask you send through editable versions to ensure they are able to be used by others.
All the resources we receive for inclusion in the Resource Hub will be subject to an assessment process to ensure they align with the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement and meet best practice standards in volunteering. For this reason, not all resources submitted to Volunteering Australia will appear in the Resource Hub when it is launched in 2020.
