Save the date and join us for Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering, National Volunteer Week, from 16-22 May 2022.
This year’s theme, Better Together acknowledges that volunteering brings people together; it builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.
National Volunteer Week is a chance for all of us to celebrate, appreciate and recognise the vital work of volunteers in Australia. The value of volunteering is immense and irreplaceable.
One of the best ways to demonstrate the importance of volunteering to the Australian community is to ensure volunteers’ contributions are recognised, valued and accounted for.

Join in the annual celebration of volunteering
Resources will be available for everyone to use leading up to and during NVW. We encourage all volunteer involving organisations to proudly promote the upcoming celebrations and use the resources widely to help increase the awareness of the vital role volunteers play in our lives.
