As we come to the end of National Student Volunteer Week, Volunteering Australia would like to give a heartfelt shoutout to the NSVW student advocates and student volunteers around the country.
Thank you for inspiring us all with your volunteer stories. These stories show the profound impact that volunteering can have on both individuals and communities.
A special thank you to all the event hosts, participants, and supporters who created meaningful experiences to celebrate Australia’s student volunteers.
We learnt through our Youth Volunteering Factsheet that in 2022, 1 in 4 young individuals aged 18-24 contributed to formal volunteering activities. This remarkable level of engagement highlights the compassion and sense of responsibility among the youth of Australia.
Thank you to Volunteering Queensland for successfully leading NSVW23 in collaboration with the State and Territory Peak Volunteering Bodies and Volunteering Australia.
