Helping Others “I enjoy helping others and knowing that, as a worker bee, I get to see the tangible results of the organizations I volunteer for.”
Meals on Wheels “Making someone’s day at Meals on Wheels isn’t just about delivering a meal; it’s about having a chat, sometimes being the only person our clients get to talk to.”
Because We Care Boutique “Providing women and girls in our community with outfits for work, job interviews, or just new clothes, especially for domestic violence victims, helps them feel empowered, beautiful, and that they matter.”
Orange Sky “Orange Sky provides free washing of clothes to our ‘friends,’ saving them money but, most importantly, restoring their dignity and offering connection.”
Marine Rescue “Marine Rescue involves saving lives on the water and helping people who find themselves in danger.”
Encouraging Others to Volunteer “Think of your passion; usually, there is an organisation that will have something for you. The gift of seeing that you are making a significant difference in one person’s life is priceless. Knowing that without a team of bees, most organisations would not be able to provide their worthwhile service to our community.”
