Thank you to everyone who joined the launch of early findings from the Volunteering in Australia organisation survey. 1,200 organisations responded to the survey and contributed to the new data exploring current trends in volunteering, including recruitment and support practices, volunteer contributions, and predictions about future needs.
Lead researchers Professor Kirsten Holmes and Associate Professor Patrick Dunlop presented the early findings, followed by a discussion on how the research relates to the National Strategy for Volunteering project and a facilitated question and answer session.
Through your contributions, this seminal piece of research will directly shape the National Strategy for Volunteering.
