Celebrating Volunteers
”On Thursday, the 23rd of May 2024, we celebrated our volunteers with a luncheon event that included great food, drinks, dancing, and singing. We awarded certificates to our 99 active volunteers and gifted them, Lapel Pins, with the 2024 message. Above all, we had the opportunity to celebrate National Volunteer Week together.”
Inspiration and Impact
”Our volunteers are inspired by the sense of belonging, the smiles on our clients’ faces, and the gratitude expressed by them and their families. This keeps our team motivated to support the elderly in the Greek community of Melbourne. As one volunteer mentioned, “You will take more compared to what you will give. An hour of your time is a gift for life to a person experiencing loneliness and isolation. Together, we can turn these feelings into happiness and hope!”
