Personal Inspiration
“Our family has a cancer that is so rare that less than 1% of the world’s population has it. It is a genetic disease that relates to one gene. I have lost most of my immediate family to the disease and for a long time, this has inspired me to work with Cancer Council Western Australia to better understand cancer and its impact on us all.”
Engaging New Volunteers
“I would ask them what their expectations are, what they think they are going to do with the volunteer work, and what their inspiration is.”
