Meet Sheryl, a student volunteer with Monash University‘s Student Association, sharing their inspiring journey as part of our ‘Share Your Story’ series.
Spreading Joy Through Acts of Kindness “I like to help others and put a smile on their faces! The thought of being able to brighten up someone’s day makes me really happy, and I am glad that I could make them smile or feel loved and cared for! <3”
Encouraging Others to Volunteer “I would say to go for it! You’ll gain so much from volunteering! From making friends to making people happy or even improving their lives! The volunteering journey is very rewarding, and you will not regret it!”
Acts of Kindness Initiative “Here are some photos of an initiative that I carry out under MSA, called ‘Acts of Kindness’. I came up with this idea as I wanted to make people happy with thoughtful little gifts and notes! As university life can be tiring or stressful, I felt that a small gift or note would definitely spur them on to push through the week! People loved and appreciated the initiatives too! I’m glad I could make a difference in their lives! <3”
